Frequently Asked Questions
- How did BWB begin? See first newsletter.
- If I contribute to BWB is my donation tax deductible? Yes,
BWB is
a tax-exempt non-profit business
organization.
Who are the people who have inspired you most to undertake such
a far reaching project?
a. Myrtle Sparks, my mother, who taught me to treat others the way I would
want to be treated if were in their place.
b. Dr. Billy Graham, whose home is forty miles from where
I grew up in Western North Carolina. He has let the world know that
the most important decision any person of any nationality
ca make, is to accept Jesus Christ as their
personal Savior, and to also have a personal relationship
with Jesus as long as we live, and then to have to have an eternal
relationship with Him in heaven after we die.
c. Dr. Jerry Falwell, my pastor for twenty-four years and
the Chancellor of Liberty University, where I teach has also been a
great inspiration to my life. He has told me and shown me
how to live a life of faith in God. He has also
helped me to learn how to get the Gospel around
the world, through letters, books, videos, a web page, as well as
traveling and speaking. I have also followed his examples
to show people how they can pray and give
financially and get the gospel around the world. Dr.
Falwell has also taught me that nothing of eternal value comes about
except by prayer.
d. R. G. Le Tourneau (deceased) I heard him speak in Texas
and I wrote this quote in my Bible: "Don't be afraid to ask God for
anything you want and then say, 'Thy will be done'."
e. Mr. Arthur DeMoss, (deceased) He spoke in our chapel at Liberty University
and I wrote down this quote in my Bible: "Ask God for something
that is so impossible that unless He does it, it won't
happen. And when it does happen give Him the
credit". I continue to follow this advice concerning
the printing and worldwide distribution of What The Bible
Teaches About Life After Death.
f. During a church service at Thomas Rd. Baptist Church I
heard Mr. Sam Moore speak and wrote this quote in my Bible: "Ask
God to work through you in a unique way to get the
Gospel around the world."
g. Dr. Carl Diemer, my husband whose teaching and preaching,
has inspired me for 37 years to give my best to God. He has wholeheartedly
supported me in this project through his prayers, studying the
Russian language for four years. He has traveled with me to former
Soviet Union countries each summer to preach and lead
ministry teams to orphanages, jails, rehab
centers, schools, juvenile delinquent homes, hospitals,
homes for the elderly, youth camps, crusades, in large auditoriums, and
churches, and small groups beginning new churches.
